My Favorite Simple Balsamic Steak Marinade

If you want to take our tenderloin steak tips over the top - you can make my flavorful balsamic marinade recipe with a handful of our store's staples in minutes!

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 2 tbsp ReModena Sweet and Dense Balsamic Vinegar
• 1 tbsp local maple syrup (optional)
• 1 tbsp Spicewalla salt-free seasoning of choice such as Garlic Herb or Cowboy Grilling
• 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 2 (1lb) packages Kinnealey Tenderloin Tips

Instructions

Marinating

1. Add steak tips into a gallon zip lock freezer bag.
2. Add all marinade ingredients, seal the bag, and move the tips around to mix and coat well. (I usually lay the bag flat onto a plate afterwards to ensure it won't leak in the fridge.)
3. Marinate for at least 3 hours and no more than 8 hours (extended beyond 8 can make the meat mushy because the vinegar in the Worcestershire can over-tenderize).

Cooking

1. Before searing, drain as much of the liquid out of the bag as possible. Next, add the tips onto a plate and pat as dry as possible with a paper towel. (If the meat is wet, it will steam instead of sear, and we want a nice crust!)
2. Add a large sprayed frypan over medium-high heat. Wait until the pan is hot/shimmering and add the meat. Sauté for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until your preferred doneness.
3. Allow to rest on a wire cooling rack for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
